The Edelweiss Mandates invest in all the traditional asset classes with a clear focus on direct investments. The equities investment universe comprises mainly securities from the Swiss Performance Index. However, funds and/or fund-like products may also be used to diversify the portfolio. Julius Baer’s approach for selecting investment funds is based on an open product platform. For the Edelweiss Mandates we invest strategically in alternative investments exclusively in property funds and precious metals.
