Corporate Social Responsibility
Julius Baer views Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an integral dimension of its established management and supervisory processes. As a consequence, it does not maintain a duplicate CSR-related corporate structure. This lean approach renders CSR at Julius Baer a daily issue – considered in every management decision –, and avoids costly and time-consuming inefficiencies. For the same reasons, Julius Baer also refrains from splitting the aim of its business initiatives into different categories of targets and from having them audited separately.
We continue to concentrate on fostering our business in our established manner: We remain considerate, we welcome change, and are always ready and willing to adapt whenever needed or sensible, whilst always taking into account the interests of all our stakeholders. In particular, we will continue to adhere to what we perceive is the most critical success factor of our more than 120 years of being in business: comprehensive risk management.
