This prestigious award bears testament to Julius Baer’s premier position in the wealth management industry. The ‘Best Private Bank’ title is awarded to the organisation which best responds to a hypothetical client case. The Julius Baer submission was deemed to be the winner because of the creativity of the solution, the care taken to understand the client’s situation, and the performance expected from the solution.

Bank Julius Baer has been named 'Best Wealth Manager 2010' in German-speaking Europe
Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. has been named 'Best Wealth Manager 2010' in German-speaking Europe in this year’s mystery testing by 'Fuchsbriefe' publishers. It is the first time this prestigious award goes to Switzerland. Julius Baer succeeded against 116 banks and independent asset managers from Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. |

'Best Strategy for Growth Award 2009' by the Financial Times Group
Julius Baer wins 'Best Strategy for Growth' in the Global Private Banking Awards 2009 presented by the Financial Times Group, in association with their two trade magazines 'The Banker' and 'Professional Wealth Management'. BILANZ: Best Private Bank 2009
The Swiss business magazine ‘BILANZ’ tested the quality of client advice of 18 banks in Switzerland by mystery shopping. Julius Baer was the overall winner in the three categories ‘Private Banks’, ‘Universal Banks (national)’ and ‘Universal Banks (regional)’ and was also victorious in the category ‘Private Banks’.

The German ‘Elite Report 2009’ has named 23 banks in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland as ‘the elite of foundation experts’ – Julius Baer is one of them. The awarded institutes are the best in counselling the roughly 60 000 trusts in the four countries mentioned. |
